The New Zealand Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships

Venue: Naseby Forest
Date: Saturday 5 November 2005

The championship event will be a point to point race.
Controls have to be visited in a fixed order.
There are courses to suit all abilities including recreational bikers.

The Otago Mountain Bike Orienteering Challenge

Venue: Naseby Forest
Date: Sunday 6 November 2005

The challenge will be a score event.
Competitors will have a fixed time to collect as many controls as possible in any order.

Over 100km of mapped tracks within an area of 22 square km.
Terrain includes everything from gentle rolling country to steep, technically difficult gold mining sites.
There is a huge variety of tracks from technical single-track and 4WD tracks to forest roads.
This is amongst the best mountain biking and orienteering areas in the country.
